This adorable pokemon is for sale:
[link]I priced it a tiny bit higher than my others because I would be more than happy to keep it XD But I'm running out of space and really should stop keeping things.
This was more fun with experimenting. I used some shimmery colored sculpey III to make this cutey. There was no painting at all, even the belly is a thin layer of sculpey. I really like the effect and it was nice to skip the painting step (with all the darn waiting for drying!) but it's not something I can do frequently without charging more for my sculptures since buying each individual color adds up.
I had to redo the ears several times. First time around, I used white Sculpey III for the ears and they broke off almost as soon as I took it out of the oven. They basically crumbled like plaster, I wasn't impressed. Then I used some of my original sculpey to rebuild them and glued the new ears on with sculpey bake and bond which is becoming my new favorite toy. That worked for one of them, but the other one drooped while cooking and looked super derpy. So I broke off what I could, and filed off the rest. The bake and bond really did not want to let go! Then I made the ear AGAIN and that time it worked out perfect.
I was beyond pleased when I photographed it that it was able to sit on leaves and flowers all by itself. It just adds an entirely new level of cuteness!
